Princess

Hodayah likes when we say "good night princess" to her and usually asks us to say it.  Tonight's gem:

Hodayah:. Say "goodnight princess".

Me: Goodnight princess.

H:. Say "goodnight princess" to Hillelly.

Me: Hillelly's not a princess.  

H: He's a man princess!

Marriage

I have a friend who worries about her son, like all good mothers do.  I told her not to worry b/c my daughter would come and marry him and straighten him out.  (They're both 4, just as a side note.)  When my daughter heard that, her response was "No!  I won't straighten him out.  I'll just marry him and then I'll just wear a hat!"

I totally hear Hodayah saying this...like when she hits me and says "I didn't hit you.  I just touched you so you wouldn't fall off".

Good Idea

Tonight's gem from Hodayah:

H: Mommy!  I have a good idea!

Me: Ok. What's your good idea?

H: I have a baby sister!

Me: Ummm...you do?

H: Yes.  She's in my belly.

Me: Oh my goodness.  When is she coming out?

H: in two weeks.

Me: IN TWO WEEKS?!?  OH MY GOODNESS!

H: Yes.  She's a dolphin now.

I lost you there kiddo.
