Raining in my Kitchen

Hodayah was telling Hillel tonight that drinking water is good for you b/c water splits apart and...something good for your body...I forget the rest.

But that got me thinking "How exactly does water split apart? Like does the hydrogen split from the oxygen?" 

And that got me thinking "I know oxygen is just air, but what is hydrogen? And how does it mix with air to make water?

And that got me thinking "We're surrounded by air. Sooo...if I open a can of hydrogen and release it into the air in my kitchen, will it just start raining in my kitchen?"

I'm so curious!
