Actual conversations with my children:
1. One Shabbat, Moshe, Hodayah, and Hillel all had crumpled balls of foil and were planning to ambush me when I came back downstairs. Batzie decided not to participate (probably b/c she loves me more) so she did not take a crumpled foil ball.
Batzie: I’m not participating in this.
Hillel: b/c you don’t have balls!
Everyone: Giggle-Snort 🤣
Hillel: Noooo not Those balls!
2. One night, Hodayah was licking her bowl after having noodles with margarine.
Me: Ew Hodayah! Where did you even learn to do that?
Hodayah: When I went to juvie.
Where do they learn this stuff?!?!
