The Best Mommy

Today, I had a meltdown in front of my kids in the middle of the day.  My precious 3 year old daughter came running over asking "Are you ok, mommy?  Do you need kisses?  Can I dry your tears?". She then proceeded to move my glasses and actually wipe my tears off.
After I calmed down, and then a few more times over the course of the day, she asked with a smile, "you're ok, mommy, right?" And I always answered with the biggest smile, "yes, I'm great.  Bc I'm with you!".
When I tucked her into bed, she wrapped her arms around herself and said "mommy, do this, give yourself hugs, and you'll be ok.".
I love her so much!

Supervision

When you're talking to your friend and she tells you she's had a better more coherent conversation with your 3 year old daughter than with her own supervisor, that's a problem, my friend.

Digestion

In case anyone was wondering, if you eat a leaf, the stem will go right through you and come out in your diaper.

Greatest gift comes in crappy wrapping paper

I had a friend who said the greatest gift can come in the most awful wrapping paper.  Hashem have me a great gift.  Time off to potty train my daughter, which I had been avoiding for so long.  Hashem also gave me a great gift that day 1 went really well.  I hope tomorrow goes just as smoothly.  I may have used up all my schar for the rest of my life.

צדקה ממני!

A couple of days ago, while my 3 year old daughter was almost melting down bc I wasn't doing whatever quickly enough, I told her to just have patience and no need to cry.  It sort of worked.  Fast forward to today.  We were outside going around our block, I was pushing my son in the stroller and she was on her tricycle.  She kept stopping every two seconds bc of an incline, or a bump, or it's Sunday, whatever.  I was losing my mind and kept saying to "keep going Hodayah!  You gotta keep going!". She got tired of me saying that, and with her hands flapping, she yelled at me "Mommy!  You need to have some patience!"
I love her so much!
