Conversations with Hillelly today:

Me:. Hillelly should we make a bracha?  Ba-

Hillelly: -ruch

Me: Ah-

Hillelly: -tah

Me: Ado-

Hillelly: burp!

Then...

Me: Hillelly, can you say "I love you"?

Hillelly: Burp!

Me: no Lelly.  Can you say "I love you"?

Hillelly: Fart!

He actually said those words.  I guess he really is a boy!

Car Safety

​ Explaining to my daughter why she shouldn't put her hands near that part of the car, I said it will hurt.

Hodayah: and it might break.
Me: Right, and then you'll have to go to the hospital.
Hodayah: to get pregnant.
Me:. What? Do you know what that means?
Hodayah:. No.
Me:. It's when a mommy has a baby in her tummy.
Hodayah:. Well I'm gonna have a baby in my tummy soon. I'm almost a grown up. I'm almost 70.
Me:. I can't wait.
