Yummy Nibbles

Today I learned that nibbling on your yummy child does not violate the issur of achilah on Yom Kippur.

Mixed Dancing

  Starting my daughter early on mixed dancing. Only I could randomly find a group of frum men dancing and end up stuck in the middle of their circle!

(For context, we were visiting Yehudis Isenberg when YU boys started coming out of the library singing. A security guard thought it was for the new president. A YU boy said "no reason...why not...bc we're Jewish!")

Boggle

We got the foam ABC tiles for my daughter.  I spelled out "Hodi Bear" on the bottom two rows (b/c you only get one of each letter and Hodayah has too many repeats), and then I put the rest of the tiles down randomly.  Now all I want to do is play Boggle.

Kumbayah

Just so we're all clear and on the same page, Hodayah has an H at each end - like HockeyH - and it is pronounced similarly to the word "Kumbayah" from the song.  This is not to make anyone feel bad.  Just trying to be helpful and avoid any future embarrassment.
