Opposites

I would like to mark today as a day that Mo Berow was wrong.  He excitedly told our family that our daughter can clearly say the word "opposites" when asking us to read the book "Opposites" by Leslie Patricelli.  While Leslie Patricelli does write many books about opposite things, the book named "Opposites" is actually by Sandra Boynton.  So I was right, and Moshe was wrong.  Hooray!  Also, our daughter knows how to say the word "opposites".  Yay :)

Mitzvah Note

Today, Hodayah and I helped Mo Berow do a very big mitzvah. He read the megillah at a Shiva home for about 10-15 people who would not have otherwise heard it. And Hodayah sat so quietly for most of it, and shook her maraca at almost every Haman, and at Zeresh, and did not destroy this woman's living room. Very proud wife and mommy.

Today 🤦🏼‍♀️

This morning, I:
~ overslept,
~ realized my phone never charged overnight b/c the plug somehow came loose,
~ had my salad explode on me while mixing in the dressing,
~ spilled my water bottle all over my backpack due to the cap getting twisted off unknowingly while stashing my sweater in my backpack.  And btw, feeling liquid drip down the back of your legs is never a feeling a woman wants to feel,
~ got stuck on the train and got to work about 15 minutes late, eventho despite all this, I would have been on time,
~ got to hang out with my daughter this morning, thank God :)

Mixed Dancing

Starting my daughter early on mixed dancing. Only I could randomly find a group of frum men dancing and end up stuck in the middle of their circle!

(For context, we were visiting Yehudis Isenberg when YU boys started coming out of the library singing. A security guard thought it was for the new president. A YU boy said "no reason...why not...bc we're Jewish!")

Foil Balls

Actual conversations with my children: 1. One Shabbat, Moshe, Hodayah, and Hillel all had crumpled balls of foil and were planning to ambus...
