For yesterday's gem from Hodayah, we were reading "left foot left foot" (Dr. Seuss's "The Foot Book") and these pages went something like this:
Me: Small feet, big feet, here come ____
Hodayah: Abba!
Me: Abba? Is Abba a pig?!
H: Abba's a pig!
Me:. What's mommy?
H:. Mommy's a cow!
Me:. Uh-huh. Ok.
(Next page) His feet, her feet...
H: that's Abba's feet and that's Hodayah's feet!
Me: and who's this one? (Pointing to the tall orange guy on the right page)
H: that's Dod Simcha Atik.
There you have it folks. My family in a Dr. Seuss books explained by my toddler.
