Things I've Discovered Over Pesach

Things I've discovered over this 3-day Yom Tov:

1. My 3 year old daughter says she likes wine.  Her facial expression while drinking it would suggest otherwise.

2. The water pressure in my downstairs bathroom sink, where I've been washing my baby bottles, is horrible.  The stream of water is skinnier than my pinky.  And the longer it runs, like when I wash bottles, the worse \ skinnier the water pressure gets.

3. Feeling feverish on the first day of a 3-day Yom Tov when there is absolutely nothing I can do about it is never fun.  On top of that, being in a global pandemic for a virus where the #1 symptom is fever is...many feelings...  I'm having a love affair with Tylenol.
ETA:. It's "only" bronchitis according to my Dr.

4. There are very few letters H around town.  When walking with your kids trying to find the first letter of their names, after finding lots of A's for Abba, it's quite a challenge.

5. I have really nice non-Jewish neighbors.  Like the guy who offered to take in our garbage cans after Friday's garbage collection bc he thought we couldn't do it on Yom Tov.

6. I appreciate real sponges.  Shabbat scrubbers just don't cut it.

7. I have a newfound appreciation for the meaning of the words of the bracha of "Shehecheyanu v'kiy'manu v'higi'anu lizman hazeh". That "Hashem made us live and preserved us and helped us arrive to this time".  I wish I could say it more often.

8. I have a lot to be thankful for.

9. I am in no rush to check Facebook (other than to post this).
