Today for my daughter's show and tell video, which we share in the class whatsapp every week, she had to show something that starts with the Hebrew letter Aleph (the first letter in the Hebrew alphabet). So I chose watermelon, אבטיח. So I had my daughter sitting holding a watermelon and talking about it, and only after I sent the video to the class group did it occur to me that I could have captioned it "She carried a watermelon!" Then I realized that most of the parents are too young (or too male) to even get that reference! 🤦♀️
